The Troops Camp in Oxford for a week was a huge success with only a few minor downs to it. The site was on a slope and so the tents were flooded. Everything dried and we learnt what to do. We built a trench for the rain to go through and round our site keeping us nice and dry. Near the end of the week we cooked a decent two course meal for ourselves and the leaders upon the wood fires we had been using all week in the Pouring rain with damp wood. |
