Sunset almost....Mt Rainier is visible to the right of the sunset on the horizon... Is that Mt. St. Helens under the front wing strut?

That's all for tonight... time to land before the official sunset.... short final for runway 07 at Othello Muni, looking to the east. The runway is rises uphill to a point two lights ahead and then it slopes downhill. So it looks as if one is high on approach until the runway raises up to meet you...If you time your landing right, you can slow down and land very gently on the uphill portion, slowing rapidly.

That's all for today.... check back for more photos from around Othello, Updated 5-22-2001 Washington by Rev. Mark Peterson, Pilgrim Lutheran Church
