Drift Creek Falls

Directions:
From Lincoln City, take Highway 101 south to through Cutler City to Drift Creek Road, then turn right on South Drift Creek for .25 miles, and another left onto Rd 17 for 10 miles to the trailhead. It can also be accessed from Highway 18 by turning south on Bear Creek Road for 3.5 miles and conitnuing straight on Road 17 for 7 miles to the trailhead.

The Trail:

The drift creek falls trail winds through typical coastal forests of small second-growth trees, along side clear cuts, and next to nice little creeks. The hike is pretty enjoyable though and ends with the Thundering Drift Creek Falls and a cool (and a little scary) suspension bridge. The hike is not too difficult, and would probably be great for a family outing along the coast. Just take care around the falls and the bridge, cause it's a long ways down!
