Thanks so much, my only questions so far are what should I look for when I inspect the gun on Friday? I know how to tell the difference between the original clips and the aftermarkets, this one is in the box and with the manual but any thing you can tell me about the gun itself would be greatly appreciated.....I will be an active member of the news letter....and copy and scan pictures of the box or manual ....and the original brochure he is giving me to anyone who wants it, I have ben looking for the rite one to buy for years and wont forget the help that you guys have given me. PS: anyone who can tell me what to look for by tomorrow (Thursday) would be great!

Thanks again,
Tony

Hi Tony,

No idea why your letter took so long to get to me but I just got it today, which is Friday. Look for small hairline cracks in the slide rails and in the frame rails. Some Bren 10s were fired with Norma 10mm ammo which was loaded way higher than what it should have been. This is really the only problems we have heard with the Bren 10. Basically it's a very sound design based on the Czech CZ-75 pistol. If you don't have those hairline cracks then you should be okay. My personal opinion...if you are going to shoot the pistol (I don't shoot mine) is to use the downloaded 160-180 grain loads also known as the "FBI" loads. I would stay away from the hotter loads in Bren 10s just to be on the safe side.
