The Bren Ten Newsletter Archives
Subject: (00/Feb/02)

Yea I found out that it was the .45 in Miami vice from the 10mm page,
and your rite the slide did not match in the show but when i bought my
gun from Erv at "ESF" he had a special forces model in stock and it
didn't match either....the slide actually matches the color of the
locking pin and thumb safety (flat silver) I then went and watched
some old episodes of Miami vice and it's the same way (the slide
matches the saftey)..so that's how I'm having it done. Thanks for the
response, talk to ya soon. Tony
Hi Tony,
Be sure and send us a picture when you have it completed!

P.S. Don't worry if the slide doesn't exactly match the frame. Don
Johnson's didn't either!
In fact, I think the two-tone silver looked even better than had they
matched.
I'll be using my tax refund to get mine, come hell or
high water. Now that the G/F has found a better job
and is working again, the funds should clear up.

Hi Joe,
Hehehe...thought I was the only one that liked the different
colors in ol' Don's Bren :)
I agree that the two colors adds an interesting effect to the looks of
the pistol.
