Subject: (00/Feb/16) Question
From: Naples5150@aol.com
My name is Tony (I think I've talked to you before) and I saw a Bren
Ten with a trigger guard? A little screw that is adjustable through
the frame to prevent the trigger from striking the back of the frame.
Is this a stock item? I did not see it in the owners manual. Also on
the same gun there are three carved dots for the thumb safety....two
gray and one orange....on both sides of the gun. I have never seen
either one of these things on any picture of Bren's that are on the
web page....is this an altered gun? An early factory fix? Anyone ever
hear of this? My friend is looking to buy this gun and I don't know
how to advise him. Tony
Hi Tony,
What you describe is a travel limiter or "trigger stop" for the
trigger. Many match pistols come with this option. I think the Colt
National Match .45 has something like this on it's trigger.
Brens come standard with this optiont. Only two positions on the
thumb safety of mine. Red and grey. Not sure what you have there.
Perhaps the group can help out?
