I spent the evening lovingly cleaning and polishing every nook
and cranny of my new baby. I must've taken it down 30 times.
Now. Does anyone know what model of Miami Classic fits this
puppy? Someone suggested that I try the one that fits Beretta
model 92s. Can't wait to get to the range this Saturday and try
it!
BTW: Before the weekend, someone tell me what light FBI loads
are, and what are good defense rounds for this gem. If I finally
get movied into my new place tonight, I'll hook up my PC and
send some pictures to everyone.
As you can all tell, I have a woody.
Hey Fernando:
Everyone I'ce spoken to about the new Triton Bren X is as
excited as we are. If only half that want one get it, you'll do
well!
Hi Joe,
Congradulations pal...welcome to the club :))
On the "light loads" thing. The lightest is 180 grain...I think. Up
from there is the 165 grain loads. Originally we were recommending
people use the 180 grain loads, but the recoil spring on the Bren 10
seems to be to stiff to allow proper functioning. So something in
the 165 grain may be better suited to it. Definitely stay away from
+P Cor Bon or the Norma 10mm loads. Just not worth the risk of
destroying your new pride and joy :)
