The Gunung Email Discussion Group is the place for people with similar interest (mountaineering in Malaysia) to share their ideas and to interact with one another. These are the list of things that can be done here:

1) Discuss about current issues involving the Malaysian mountain (e.g.. Korbu tragedy)
2) To look for mountain guide and offer him/herself as a guide.
3) To promote and publicize backpacking trip.
4) To find climbing mates.
5) Gear discussion.
6) To seek information and provide information

8) To get to know other gunung counterparts all over the world.
