| GUNUNG GAYONG
Located just two map squares away from Gunung Korbu, the characteristic of this moutain is exactly the same as Gunung Korbu. The are actually three ways to get to the summit of this mountain. First, the easiest way, is to climb Mount Korbu and continue trekking on the Titiwangsa Range for another two hours. I'll suggest this route if you just want to summit Mount Gayong and that's all. On the way there, the beautiful Titiwangsa Range can be seen clearly. Second, climb Mount Yong Belar and it will take another 2 days to reach to reach Mount Gayong. On the way, you'll come across Mount Junction. This trek is exhilarating and require a good amount of fitness. Water supply is not available for most days Third, climb Mount Yong Yap and it will take another 4/5 days to reach the mountain. This route is not advisable and only suitable for those with super fitness and training for ironman competition. However this route provide the best view of equatorial rainforest from the top.
