* 2nd Cycle Education
2 1/2 years akademiingenioer education (Bachelor of engineering) in civil and environmental engineering, Danish language.
* Postgraduate Education
5 years civilingenioer education (Master of Science) in environmental and marine civil engineering, where the first 3 years (6 semesters) are part of the above mentioned 2nd cycle education.
The 7th to the 10th semester of the environmental engineering course are given in English. The semester themes are:
7th and 8th sem.: Urban sewage and storm drainage.
9th sem., 3 options: 1) Air pollution 2) Coastal pollution 3) Soil pollution.
10th sem.: Thesis work.
The 9th and 10th semester of the marine civil engineering course are given in English. The semester themes are:
9th sem.: Design and implementation of marine structures.
10th sem.: Thesis work.
* Doctorate
PhD in technical sciences. Dissertations can be submitted in Danish or English. The faculty can allow dissertations submitted in other languages.
* Accommodation
Aalborg University International Office can arrange private rooms, price level 1500-2000 DKK (200-250 ECU) per month. A limited number of students residential rooms are available.
* Language Teaching
A 1 month intensive course in Danish for foreigners is arranged in August. Contact the International Office at Aalborg University.

Civilingenior (M.Sc. in engineering).
The study time is prescribed to 5 years including half a year for preparation of a thesis. Possibility for specialization in all common engineering disciplines including hydrology and water resources, water quality management, groundwater pollution, hydrogeology, geochemistry etc. Parts of the studies are offered in English. Contact the International Office for English Course Catalogue. In addition OTV offers a international MSc Programme in Environmental Engineering.
