EU Programmes
Water Environment Information Bulletin
* Contents
* General Information
This listing of EU-programmes does not have the ambition nor the aim to be complete. The information presented here are
EU-programmes where the water environment can be a subject. The general database of the EC is hosted
by European Commission Host Organisation (ECHO) and
you may wish to consult Magazines and Bulletins for
RTD-Transfer.
Useful overviews on :
* EU Financial Instruments for the Environment
* EC Legislation
and a Directory of Community Legislation in force and other acts of the Community
institutions concerning the ENVIRONMENT can be found in the Newsletter
No.17 June 1996 of the Environment Institute of the EC Joint
Research Centre at Ispra (I).
The Editor has also found
the PHARE Address Book
to be useful. This publication provides a list of the key people and
organisations involved in the PHARE Programme along with addresses,
telephone and fax numbers.
In order to give you a guide to the many EU-programmes, we present them classified according to the
Directorates-General (DG) of the EC where the programmes find their origin. In some cases more
than one DG is responsible. The Commissioner in charge appears in brackets below each DG.
We present the links as follows:
- normal characters link to the EC pages directly, if any exist.
