* Young Researchers

Mobility opportunities for young researchers are available within the Training and Mobility of Researchers programme(TMR) (1994-1998) of the 4th Framework Programme of the EC. TMR was under the 3rd Framework Programme called Human Capital and Mobility (HCM). Examples of networks for HCM were :

• WEEL-Water Environment European Laboratories, project N0ERBCHRXCT930212
  Pan-European Scientific Network for integrating the disciplinary components of the Water Sciences and Technologies: RTD for regional integrated water management. The project was a TECHWARE -project and was coordinated by Prof. F. Siccardi, University of Genova, Italy. The results of this project October 1993-September 1995 can be found under the RTD-Transfer section.
• MATECH-European center for MAthematics and TECHnology of urban water pollution.
  MATECH counted several projects under the overall title : Integrated urban runoff, waste water treatment and receiving waters. Contact Prof. Paul Harremoes at the Technical University of Denmark.
• The co-operation with Scientists of the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union (INTAS) may offer opportunities to some.

* Staff Mobilities

Staff mobility throughout Europe, strengthening interuniversity links as well as those between enterprises and academic institutions, is possible with the support of programmes such as SOCRATES / ERASMUS, LEONARDO, TEMPUS. TECHWARE has offered in the past within the former COMETT programme its PEP-project: Personnel Exchange Project. Parties interested in PEP should contact TECHWARE by E-mail. WATERMOST has the latest opportunities between Romania and EU for staff mobility and development of teaching material regarding the TEMPUS-PHARE Mobility Joint European Project: M-JEP-11341-96
