Students and young graduate Placements and personnel Exchange for training in the European industry Sector water environment

* Objectives

• the promotion and realisation of students and young graduates and exchange personnel;
• the promotion and co-operation and innovation in the field of education and training, as well as the transfer of investigation results;
• the development and dissemination of educational and training material;
• the promotion of the participation of its members in European and international programmes in all fields related to water;
• facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge;
• promote understanding of other European societies and cultures ;
• encourage individuals to improve training organisations and schools and socio economic players;
• enhancing the quality of other TECHWARE projects under Strand I, II and III.

* Activities

A "POOL GRANT" procedure will apply for the requested:

• 90 placements of an average duration of 6 months and 12 exchanges of an average duration of 4 weeks in 15 Member States monitored by the Coordinating and Regional TECHWARE Bureaux (Belgium; Italia; UK+IRL; Vlaanderen) and the Leading members ( F, NL), using a methodology including: workprogramme, language preparation ; intermediate and final reports and payments in 3 instalments concerning placements and 2 instalments concerning exchanges.

* Results

• new version of the VADEMECUM for applicants, sending and receiving organisations will be adapted from the earlier version developed under COMETT II;
• final reports by the students and final reports by the staff;
• reports by sending and receiving organisations and sending awards;
• certification or accreditation if applicable in their system;
• On the follow-up of these placements or exchanges there is the TECHWARE Alumni Association. It aims to give the students, ex-grantees of TECHWARE, the possibility to be in contact with the European Water Environment Sector
