* AGUA

AGUA is an important training project of ADAPT for the urban water environmentin Spain. AGUA is linked to the Specific Project "Continuing Professional Development Programme for Water" of ETNET-WATER.

* WATER QUALITY MEASUREMENTS

Several of the activities and specific RTD-programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme include "training". For example, a "Specific Training for Exploitation and Technology Transfer" is proposed through a series of short courses by TECHWARE's Specialist Group(SG) "Measurements". The project "Training for Water Quality Measurements" has been prepared by seven leading organisations of the European Union, and was accepted for funding by DG XII, SM&T.

* LEONARDO da VINCI

Vocational Training Programme of the European Commission (DG XXII) for the period 01/01/95 - 31/12/99. Projects in the field of WATER ENVIRONMENT are :

• FORMAQUA : "Reception of training needs in the water industry through Member States".
  A TECHWARE - project in partnership with Federgasacqua (I) and Office de l'Eau (F).
• FORMAQUAPILOT is the follow-up of FORMAQUA.
