Founders Day 1999

Big thanks to those who attended this years Founder's Day activities. Everyone appreciates that you took the time and made the effort to attend this annual event. The attendance was very poor this year, which is probably due to a lack of communication from the house and your fellow alumni. It is the mission of this page not let this happen again next year!

On the positive side, the house seems to be in fairly good shape and the brothers are apparently doing a commendable job of paying bills and past debts to Nationals (with much guidance from Rob Runge). Now that we are square with Nationals we can start to take care of the owner of the house and Phi Psi, Andy Faust. The house does have a nice new kitchen installed in the basement and some new furniture. A deck on the side of the house is in the works for this summer. Updating the bathrooms is the next big project.

Again, thanks to the brother's both undergraduate and alumni for a great weekend. We know that Founder's Day 2000 is going to be an event to remember. Some ideas for next year are rooms and a banquets at the Doubletree, a clambake, along with usual Saturday morning golf tournament and Friday night casino night.
