Jon Anders (Dave Peterson)
Jon is a Flemish hand gunner formerly with the Duke of Burgundy's contingent
fighting for Edward the IV. He terminated his employment to join Warwick
for better pay. It seems to Jon that while Charles and Warwick support
the same side, they don't have a lot of use for each other. Warwick and
his lieutenants seeking to diminish the Dukes presence have tried to hire
out from under Charles, his troops. With hand gunners not being plentiful
in England, Jon is a bit of a novelty and am acutely aware that the English
have a love hate relationship with the Flemish (as opposed to the French
or Scots who they just hate.)
Jon looks at the English as backward and after having been subjected
to Burgundian sophistication he finds his new English comrades a bit vulgar.
On the other hand it is Warwick's personal guard and one of the most professional
under his command, so militarily the situation is not familiar to him.
