Men of Warwick
Emma Brews Littlewood, Captain's Wife (Susan Parris)
Emma, the only daughter of a wealthy wool merchant, had never left
her hometown of Ludlow until she married Captain Eric Littlewood in 1458
and traveled to his post in Calais (France). These were hard years
for Emma because it was the only time in her life she had been separated
from her twin brother, Randy. Since their mother's death, at their
birth, they had been inseparable.
Spoiled by her father and now her husband, Emma usually gets what she
wants. After returning to England and settling at Warwick Castle
in 1460, Emma convinced her husband to allow Randy to serve as his squire.
Still childless, Emma has chosen to endure the harsh living conditions
to follow her beloved husband and brother on campaign.
