The FISC Monday evening skate is an intermediate to advanced skate that moves at faster pace than the Wednesday skate. The skate starts at 6:30 p.m. and departs from the Our Lady of Sorrows parking lot, located on the West side of Power road between Shiawassee and 10 Mile Road.
The Club will be meeting every Wednesday through October for a beginner to intermediate skate. The skate starts from the public parking lot behind Farmington Shopping Center, located on the southeast corner of Farmington and Grand River near the downtown post office building. Arrive around 6 p.m., gear up and check out the specialty station of the week. The skate departs at 6:30 p.m. Please try to be ready at this time. Come celebrate summer with us!
Enjoy your Sunday mornings with friends at Kensington Park at 11 a.m. Meet at the East boat launch second parking lot. To get there take I-96 West and follow the signs to Kensington Metro Park (Kent Lake Road, Exit 153). Take a right off of the exit, then take the first left after the entrance gate.
Athens to Atlanta Training Starting Sunday June 6th, 1999, FISC will be hosting long-distance training to get ready for this year's Athens to Atlanta. Your coaches Brett Foland and Vivian Walls will help you get ready for skating endurance and maintaining proper technique. The group meets at 9:30 a.m.
