When we have SliderVision one of the most popular episodes requested to watch again is LAST DAYS. Now this is probably because we are a rampant lot of romantics who really enjoyed that "first kiss" between two young characters that we had come to know and love (some love them more than others.. but I wont go into that here! ;-)) )
So this is my TRIBUTE PAGE to that one very special moment in any relationship.. the first kiss....
Sadly (for some .. other's don't care either way) there was NO relationship that followed (well how could you really? Sliding around like that.... ) so this episode, the Lottery one and to some extent the Vampyre one in Season 3 are the only episodes that touch on the very special relationship that Quinn and Wade share.......
Now this scene has been amongst the most favourite for many Slider's fans, and probably one of the most worn out parts of the tapes too. (That, and the famous "cough" scene in Love Gods.. Come on.. who here doesn't envy THAT doctor ;-)
Anyhow...
Getting back to Wade and Quinn....
If you are a regular visitor to Quinn's Basement ( and if not, why not?? Hmm??) then you may have popped over to the Library. Then you will know that my favourite topic of writing is, infact ( surprise! surprise! ), Wade and Quinn fanfiction.
You may have also noticed that I am the first on the Net to create 'picture-book' stories.. IE: I have pictures throughout the stories in an attempt to help create the visual imagery. In this process I have acquired MANY photos of Sliders.. I mean a HUGE amount... ridiculous amount actually.. and I have them nicely itemised on the computer. Quinn has a file.. Wade has a file.. Remmie has one.. etc...
I also have one called WQ which houses photos of the two of them together. Now I have Paint Shop Pro and that has a nifty little browesr in it. So, I opened this file and was amazed how many pictures I actually have of THE kiss. Well I thought.. why not do up a little page in QB for this famous and very romantic moment of our heroes lives?
So this is what I have done. Simple as that. I hope you like this page.. let me know.. Sign my guestbook please :)
In a few weeks I'll have that music playing in the background too... just to add to the atmoshere for you :) ...
..... the one tangible moment in their lives that spoke volumes about how they felt about each other.. Wade and Quinn kiss, and I mean, KISS, down in his basement when they think that the world is about to end......
Okay... So here we are in the kitchen... Damn matches!
... and what did they need those matches for..???
.. so, we had this litttle dance thing happening now between the two of them ....
.. and Quinn is trying to work out whether or not to 'go for it'.. .
while Wade wonders if he'll ever 'go for it'....
(SLIDA: Bite that lip, Quinn....or better still - let me !! ;-) )
And, as usual. the man needs a little persuasion in the matter!
YAY Wade! FINALLY! (She wont break, Quinn. Touch her!)

Quinn thinks: "Now.. what were we doing again??????
"Ahhhhh, yes. That's right !" ;-))
Wade thinks.. "Damn that bl**dy Professor!"
Quinn thinks.. "Hmm.. do I get another chance at this???

When asked, in an interview, Jerry O'Connell was reported to have said that he "really enjoyed" the kissing scenes with Sabrina Lloyd....
When asked, in an interview, if she knew Jerry O'Connell had said that, Sabrina Lloyd was reported to have laughed lightly and said, "No, but I'll have fun teasing him about it now......."
These two certianly made a more believable *couple* than the current pairing of Quinn and Maggie - because neither of them look like they care too much for the other at all (in that way!) whereas with THESE two.. there was a HEAP of chemistry - I bet offscreen as well as on !
