There's a firm belief held by many Quinn/Wade fans that the episode of Stoker, Jerry O'Connell's first attempt of directing a SLIDERS episode, was definately a Q/W episode. And many of us feel that this is because Jerry wanted fans to see that Wade was indeed a valued member of the team.. and (I'd like to think.) he thinks that Quinn should have ended up with Wade....
This maybe was his only way of expressing that...
Check out *how* the scene at the wall is directed.. it's very intimate.. very intense... and could have been directed to happen in a number of ways.. yet this way was very intimate.....

This series of screen captures happens late in the episode. Wade has been under the spell of the Vampyre and she is finally freed of it when Quinn kills him.
Wade: Just my luck, huh? I finally really like someone and he turns out to be a vampyre...
Quinn: Shh shh... It's alright...
Wade: I just I want to explain to you...
[they pull back now]
Wade: When I was up there.. when I was with those guys, up there with the band, I felt like I really belonged... like I wasnt' alone....
Quinn: You're not alone, Wade... you've got us...
Wade: Do I?
Quinn: Always... [they touch heads gently] I'm sorry if I haven't made that clear lately.....
Wade: Maybe I just need to hear it more often than some people.....
[There's a LOT of gentle caressing going on in that scene.. a very touching scene really.. almost like Quinn's letting Wade and the fans know .. that he still cares very deeply for her....... ]
Next time we see Wade and Quinn they are inside and she turns to him and asks about her singing.. [I think - afterall, we really DONT know what continued in that alleyway.. now do we ;-D]
Wade: Was I really good? Or you just saying that because you're my friend?
Quinn: (smirking) You were really that good...
Then with just a little smile in the direction of the vortex, he indicates she should slide...
