45Colourful
Years - 1st Kuala Lumpur Boys' & Girls' Brigade
On
September 4, 1999 we had the opportunity to introduce Uses of Rope activities
to fellow Brigaders of
1st
Kuala Lumpur Company. Extreme Outdoor activities such as this was the hightlight
during the celebration besides Archery where YB Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn
the then Deputy Minister of Education was the guest of honour .
A
10 team descend members including Us (two instructors) performed various
kinds of descending techniques such as normal Rappell, Free-fall, Australian
and Spider. Besides camping The Brigade hopes to have more exposures on
Extreme Outdoor Pursuits activities for their Boys' and Girls'.

Jambul Penang
