The Gulf Coast 10-13 Club, Inc. is a fraternal and social organization made up of retirees from the N.Y.C. Police Department, N.Y.C. Transit Police and the N.Y.C. Housing Police Departments. The Gulf Coast 10-13 Clubs Inc. along with thirteen other 10-13 organizations is affiliated with the National Organization known as the 10-13 Clubs of America, Inc. Our functions are fraternal, social and legislative. We seek to safeguard benefits for its membership and their families through cooperation with other clubs in the National Organization.
We were organized on May 7, 1987 and have a membership of 83 members, 72 regular, 9 associate (members from other N.Y. police departments) and 2 honorary members. Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM. We meet at the FOP lodge #66 located at 23300 Harper Ave. Port Charlotte, Florida.
Some of our social functions include our annual picnic which is held at Harbour Heights Park in Port Charlotte, our Christmas party, Golf outings which are held at neighboring Golf courses, Breakfasts and Gambling cruises out of Fort Myers. Our annual dues is $25.00 per year. We also publish a monthly newsletter. Elections for office are held every two years.
